Accession Cross-Reference System
The
Accession Cross-Reference System stores such data as Accession
Number, Encounter Number, Order Date and
Verified Date.
This facilitates reports that must rely on queries based on date ranges only. For example, if you need to run a monthly report, you can use the ACC_XREF Table as the controlling table, joining to the PO or the POH on ENBR thus speeding up execution time considerably.
Partial Accession # Inquiry
This program can supply the full accession number when only parts of it are known. For example, a pathologist knows the prefix and part of the actual accession number.
